Neptune's Birthday

Neptune was one year old yesterday. Not in Earth years, obviously — and not technically in Neptune years. Tuesday marked the day Neptune finally completed one trip around the sun since its official discovery on Sept. 23, 1846. One Neptuninan year equals 164.79 Earth years. Though the idea of a planet having a birthday is a little funny, I'll go with it for the sake of having something to celebrate. Here’s my birthday wish to the planet: May you never end up like Pluto.
